Associate Professors: Research and industry go hand in hand

New findings from applied research contribute to solving societal problems. An important starting point for this is the fundamental research carried out at universities, which Fraunhofer IWES takes up in the areas of wind energy and hydrogen research and applies to industrial applications. This combination of fundamental and applied research makes it possible to drive innovation and promote the transfer of knowledge into practice. Universities thus play a crucial role in the development and advancement of science and technology. The IWES employs nine associate professors and is committed to close cooperation between academic and industry-oriented science.
